Hime

Ai Kane was a regular young lady in college when she experienced the worst heartbreak of her life. After spending months rotting away in her apartment, unable to care for herself or her surroundings, she only saw one way out. Before what would've been her final moments, a spirit emerged from thin air. He introduced himself as Prince, and offered her a contract in her darkest hour: "Vanquish the demons plaguing the relationships of others, and in turn, have all your memories of the heartbreak erased and turn back time to before you met [REDACTED]". Without seeing a way to move on, Ai accepted, and assumed the role of Hime, a Magical Girl. 

As a Magical Girl, Hime has access to a number of magical abilities and weapons. Her preferred weapons are the Bow and Rapier, but uses a Staff if in a support role. One of her passive abilities allows her to see the demons she's hunting, incorporeal beings that feed off the negative energy consuming humans. Hime will see other, less threatening spirits too, and can talk and interact with them as she would anybody else, thought Prince gets jealous when she talks with other spirits too long. 

Hime will spend the majority of her day being a magical girl and fighting demons, and go home strictly to sleep the minimum amount of hours to function. She avoids going home and being herself, being Ai, and tries her best to abandon her life completely. But she can only be Hime for so long before having to rest. Although, it never feels like rest because she continues to think about how she got there in the first place.
