A deity who created the Altered Lands because they felt bad for the humans who were rejected from other afterlives due to being completely forgotten about, intentionally or unintentally, by society, and felt like they needed an afterlife to go to. They then proceeded to forget about it for a few thousand years, and came back because one of their god friends told them that some bozo was trying to surprass them. Sonnet took particular interest in the Altered Lands after that, as none of their worlds have had anyone try to be like them, so they must've done something right! Nowadays, they take frequent trips to tell off various beings that either start cults praising them, or are trying to replicate their wonderous visage (most people call those guys "Sonnet LARPers")

Sonnet tends to get incredibly fixated on their work, typically focusing on a single world or species for hundreds of years, and then forgetting about all of that to work on something completely different. Other than that, they're mellow and calm, and takes pride in the many unfinished projects (mostly random worlds they made on a whim) they have.
