Do whatever you want. Resell, retrade, etc. etc.
Redesigning is fine but not too much to the point it is an entirely different character.
Just to be fair, when reselling them, at least be fair with the price. If you got my designs for free, also just give them away for free (unless there is art added) or give them back to me.
