►APPEARANCE:

height: 5'11"
hair: black, thick, with loose curls. shorter in the back than in the front, with a streak of white in the center that's usually part of their bangs.
eyes: stormy blue, with faintly glowing, yellow-tinged irises.
build: lithe, lanky, with faint muscle and long legs.
presentation: generally mixes and matches masc, fem, and neutral. will sometimes bind, but not all the time.
body mods / scars: has chain tattoos. they start as cuffs at their wrists, then chain up around the arms, over the shoulders, and down over the waist and cuffing at their ankles. over the back and stomach, however, the chain imagery breaks. has  a variety of wounds scattered across their body that never quite healed right.
clothing: generally wears pale, low-saturation clothing, and what colors they wear are usually blues and navy amidst the black and white. is as likely to wear a jacket and steel-toe boots one day as they are to wear a dress and corset the next. generally kul tiran fashion.
expression: generally expressionless, their default often makes them look apathetic or disinterested, perhaps even bored.

• has a heavy sort of air around her, best described as staticy, with the light scent of saltwater.
• hair is perpetually clinging to her face like it's wet, but upon being touched it feels like normal hair, dry as healthy hair should be.
• voice has a very slight reverb to it, not as much as most void elves. she almost sounds like she's underwater.
• pronouns are any, so any apply. profile is mixed they/them and she/her because those are the two i use most for them.

►HISTORY:

just a week or so after the alliance came to kul tiras, a naga hunter and warrior of the kaldorei, arya deepwatcher, took to the seas around the islands in her never-ending hunt. instead of naga, however, she found something curious- an elf, perhaps a quel'dorei, sunken to the bottom of the sea. with chains around her wrists and feet and weights attached that hadn't even settled into the sands yet, it was clear that not much time had passed since she had been dumped here. following that slim chance that she yet lived, arya unchained her, bringing her to shore and letting her recover in one of the field hospitals near boralus.

after some examination, it was revealed just how close to death this nearly-drowned elf was- she wasn't even breathing, water caught in her lungs and skin pale as the dead, and yet her heart continued to beat. albeit, it was muffled, slow, enough that it would've been easy to pass her off as deceased. after some closer examination by a friend of arya's, a strange doctor named harlowe, and with the call of aid from a nearby shaman, the water still yet drowning her was drawn out, and once the last of it curled out of her lungs, she coughed, breathing in air and coming to.

when asked her name, where she came from, who she served, only one word rang in her head. forvelkos. but the word made her mind itch, and she couldn't say it aloud, like it stuck on the edge of her tongue. so, instead, she stated she was kos... and that was about it. the nearly-drowned amnesiac offered nothing else to inquiring questions, and eventually broke through that she did, in fact, remember nothing. so, the alliance took her in, and arya asked her to repay a debt to them by helping with their work on kul tiras, which kos found herself agreeing to.

after some brief training in finding out what, exactly, she was good at, kos found an ease in wielding knives and daggers, and the blackpowder pistols popular among the guard. they also knew of herbs and their uses in potions and poisons, and decided to wield this found knowledge going forward, as it is all she has.
