i think their ability is they use echolocation to create a visual map of dark spaces
i lile to imagine their ability creates like a “map” where everything it outline in white and slowly fades so y have to use echolactaipn again yk
nothing moves when the exholcation is use so they’d have to use it again to see if something is moving
SO IF A LIZARD WAS CHASING THEM IN A DARK SPACE THEY’D HAVE TO USE IT A LOT
