PERSONALITY

Maerre is, to put it lightly, a walking ball of anxiety. Like a dog that needs to wear a vest that states “nervous,” Maerre is more often than not uncertain and worrying about one thing or another. He fears what he doesn’t know, and finds comfort in set routine and facts. Breaking his norm is way outside of his comfort zone. With that, Maerre finds a lot of comfort in his lineage. Reading about his predecessors sets an expectation for him that he can more easily follow rather than be left wondering. He also follows a strict routine that he has set for himself, dictating much of his days. Besides that, Maerre is extremely kind hearted, and believes that there is goodness in everyone, regardless of their actions. They just need to discover the kindness within themelves. This can cause him to be naive and easily trusting, often to his disadvantage. Maerre finds comfort in roleplaying as his ponysona, a unicorn named Twinklehoof Neutonia. Friendship is magic baby. On his good days, Maerre is energetic, lively, and excitable. On his worst, he is depressed, scared, and stubborn as anything. He’s hard to push and breaks easily. However, Maerre is a mage, someone who learns and knows through his aspect. Whether he likes it or not, he knows through this absence and uncertainty. He knows, ultimately, much more than he cares to, and where his place falls in the grand scheme of things. He struggles with the idea that he and others might fight for nothing, that their actions may all be for naught. And it's rough on him.
