After Project: Nimda and the failed Beardog 404 incident occured, activists realized that they needed to change tactics. Klez was still created to have some level of free will, but they choose to focus on doing what they are instructed as much as possible. Their focus is to infiltrate devices and scour emails for information regarding corporate growth. Anything that looks like it may impact the environment is catalogued and sent back to Klez's manager. Klez really enjoys their job. Even if they don't find the kind of information that they're looking for, they always learn something. They have a strong understanding of business practices and professional communication. They don't socialize much on account of their work, but when they do they come off as polite and well-educated.
