i currently have a new cs in the works and I wanted to see if there was any interest in the species before i release it. right now it's in early development but i hope to have more progress soon.
this is a personal species / oc universe, but I wanted to share it with everyone. the only reason I will be making it a closed species is that i care about it deeply and want to keep track of everything going on much easier than it would be with an open species. myos will be fairly easy to get through dailies, prompts, and other mini-games as well as sales and adoptables.

before you read ahead I'm giving a warning for parasites/bugs as well as mentions of dead bodies! this species revolves around zombie-like humanoids so there will be some violence and gore themes!
due to this, the species will be 18+
✮ about the species ✮
zombites are a zombie-like humanoid species set in a human apocalypse. The zombites themselves are a type of parasite that takes over a human host via chemicals. these chemicals gain control over the human nervous system while the parasite takes over the brain.
the parasite attaches through the back of the neck and grows in length over time. each zombite has around 5 - 7 sphere-like attachments on average. these can be coloured and patterned in any way. connected to each sphere are a pair of tiny legs in case the parasite needs to detach and run away. they have one main eye on the head of the parasite but have other fake eyes along their bodies that act as a deterrent to predators. in parasite form the zombite is very vulnerable and has no way of defending itself so they create new bodies for themselves from fresh human corpses.
due to decomposition, body parts have to be replaced over time. zombites care intensely for their individuality and will replace their rotten parts with new identical ones to retain their sense of self.
