  • Incredibly flamboyant and dramatic gentleman.
  • Enjoys teasing people and is pretty mischievous in general. 
  • Acts kind of childish at times and can get pretty overexcited easily.
  • He is also very flirtatious (popular especially among older women). 
  • Kind of narcissistic though, likes looking at himself a lot and enjoys people fawning over him.
  • Most of the time he has a very smug looking expression on his face.

Childhood Background Notes

(birth-8) Nathaniel was born as an illegitamate child from an elite noble family whose husband had an affair with a woman not of noble blood, Nathaniel's mom. His father tried to push things under the rug and bought his mistress a small isolated house in order for her to start over and raise Nathaniel in secret. This worked, however as Nathaniel grew older he looked extremely similar to his father. One day as Nathaniel's father was passing through town being escorted by carriage, he spots his ex mistress and Nathaniel in the trading market. Startled by seeing the exact similarities, Nathaniel's Father feared that people would snoop and find out his secret dirty affair resulting in his high social status being stained. Nathaniel's Father being left with no other choice hires men to get rid of the evidence. When these 2 men invade Nathaniel's home, His mother forces him out the window to escape while she holds them off and distracts them. Sadly there was a man outside the home as well preparing to burn the house down after they get rid of both of them and he spots Nathaniel escaping. The man chase him down and eventually catches Nathaniel. Right as he was about to kill him on the spot, Gale charges in and beats the crud out of him. Nathaniel pleads to Gale to take him back to the house but when they arrive it was already engulfed in flames.

(8-13) Gale then takes Nathaniel back to his campsite since the area was too dangerous. Once they arrived at the campsite Nathaniel became depressed and didn't eat or talk to anyone for a long time. Gale absolutely refused to be ignored by Nathaniel and one day out of the blue, declares that he is Nathaniel's big brother. Nathaniel became embarrassed by the thought of this and rejected Gale out loud, finally speaking to him. Gale grinned and decided that there was no going back. They were now brothers. This would be the start of a strong family bond. Silas was ecstatic when he heard that he now had another big brother and was instantly attatched.  As many months went by Nathaniel would start to open up more and the 3 of them grew closer. They would all sleep together, eat together, play together, they were absolutely inseparable. When Nathaniel was 13 the wolfbane bandits had progressively grew over the years, from the 3 members that they had started with (which was Gale, Antonio and Adonis.) to now 6.

(13 continued) Sadly their peaceful days would come to an end abruptly. There began rumors of a giant caravan that would be coming into town heavily guarded. Gale decided to have everyone split off by themselves in different locations to attack the huge caravan. Silas and Nathaniel wanted to see this giant caravan too but Gale rejects that idea saying its too dangerous for them to come. Rome who is the most recent member of the bandits, suddenly volunteers to stay close to the boys so they can come along and see the caravan too. It's not every often that you see something this grand of scale and Gale agrees as long as Rome was protecting them.  Rome, instead of protecting the boys kidnaps them and uses them as bait for luring Gale while everyone is distracted with the caravan. Rome had told Gale that someone had knocked him out and took the boys leaving a ransom note. Gale and Rome quickly ran to the secluded area where he saw Silas tied up, unconscious and thugs holding a knife to his throat. Gale was forced to comply since he didn't know where Nathaniel was and if he made the wrong move both boys could possibly be killed. Gale heard Nathaniel yell from somewhere warning him about Rome but it was too late. Gale was stabbed by Rome from behind. He was still able to fight even though he was now ambushed by the thugs and Rome. But what Gale didn't realize that the sword he was stabbed with was coated with poison and as he was moving around fighting, the poison's effects came quickly. He managed to defeat the thugs but Rome was still standing and Gale could no longer move because of the poison. Right as Rome was about to finish him off in front of Silas who was now conscious, Adonis, Darius and Antonio came in stopping him. Antonio managed to injure Rome while the others rescued Nathaniel, Gale and Silas. They all escaped but within a few hours Gale would succumb to his wounds and died.
(13-18) After Gales death, The wolfbane bandits fled to another town and buried him. The Wolfbane bandits then disbanded and they all split up for multiple reasons (See character bios for reasons. Silas became traumatized after witnessing everything that happend and was in a catatonic state. Nathaniel took care of Silas for a long time until he was able to function again. After this incident Silas was broken and no longer himself. Nathaniel still cared for him as a younger brother but their relationship eventually became quite complicated as they grew older. Silas had become extremely attached to Nathaniel and believed that he had to protect Nathaniel from everyone. They developed into a lustful relationship but there wasn't necessarily any true romantic feelings.They continued their brothers legacy and stole from travelers but it wasn't enough to live off of. When Nathaniel was 18 he realized his looks would benefit him and worked as a gigolo for many wealthy older women. Silas was fine with this because they needed even more money to really support themselves. So Nathaniel would go off with women into the night and earn money from sex. However, his regular clients eventually stopped showing up and Nathaniel became concerned but this didn't stop him from continuing his work. One day after Nathaniel finished with one of his clients he left the hotel but realized he had forgotten something once he arrived at camp. As he was walking back to the hotel he noticed something strange. A trail of blood going off the road, he thought it might have been an animal or something but then noticed a women's pink shawl. The same one his client was wearing. Nathaniel picked up the shawl and followed the trail of blood. Once he reached the end of the trail he saw Silas covered in blood standing over his clients dismembered corpse. Nathaniel was completely paralyzed in fear and Silas looked surprised but happily ran up to hug Nathaniel like nothing even happened. Silas had murdered all the clients that Nathaniel had been seeing regularly. Nathaniel grew fearful because this was not Silas but a murderer who killed multiple women and acted like nothing was wrong. Nathaniel fled one night but didn't realized that he was being followed by Silas and was caught. Silas broke his arm and dragged him back to camp, threatening Nathaniel that next time he ran it would be more than just an arm. Nathaniel lived his days in fear and waited for an opportunity to flee. Which it came when Silas left for another town.

Current Notes

(18-present) Nathaniel fled for a few days leaving everything behind. He needed cash, so he decided the first person he sees hes going to rob them. That first person was Liev but his ambush didn't go as plan and was taken down very quickly. Nathaniel took a good look at Lievs face from the ground and his heart skipped a beat. Nathaniel didn't really even know that he had a type until he saw Liev. Since his plan failed Nathaniel went on to plan B, follow Liev and start over a new free life. As they traveled together their bonds strengthen and they became close friends. Eventually their friendship deepens even further.


Other Notes

  • Born with distinct facial markings and is apart of the elven race. Elves are considered a rarity in some parts of the world, so he gets a lot of people gawking at him (but he really likes the attention!) This can eventually get him into certain sticky situations as he is easily noticeable. 
  • Gale had given him a very large scarf as a present when he was younger but it was too big for him to actually wear. However he loved it so much he slept with it every night until he was big enough to actually wear it. 
  • An odd habit that Nathaniel has whenever he gets worried or anxious, is that he will tug the scarf up to his mouth and hold it with his hand for comfort. When he and Liev become a couple, he rarely does it and eventually stops doing it all together.
