Akira

Akira was born with a inheritable disease that limits his life to a certain lifestyle in order to prolong it. While his parents would often worry about him, he often worry about how others will feel for him. With people telling him that he might not have the best of a normal healthy person can enjoy, he makes up to it by being a person who can make other enjoy his company.

One night, he was rushed in a hospital due to his health complications and was asked to be confined until the doctors are done with the findings for his health. On the first night in the hospital, he was visited by a fairy named Kirakira, who told him that she has been looking for a Precure to help her against evil beings. Akira tells the fairy that in no way he can help her, but Kirakira assures him that she feels that he's the perfect person to fill the role, convincing Akira to become her precure. After 5 days in the hospital, Akira introduced Kirakira to his parents, and the two of them persuaded them to let Akira study in PreCure Academy. They were initially against it considering Akira's condition, however, because of Kirakira's mystic abilities, both of them are convinced and they told Akira that maybe the Precure thing can heal him. Akira and Kirara then made their way to Precure Academy to study the world of Pretty Cures.
