Spider Lily is a dark, brooding mare and the daughter of Inky Rose and Lily Valley. She insists on appearing mysterious and moody, even if deep down she loves a lot of the bright and colorful things that most ponies like. She writes poetry in her spare time, and although she tries hard to write poems about the twisted nature of her soul, she just can't seem to make it sound genuine. On the other hand, her guilty-pleasure poems, in which she writes about love, are beautiful and deeply thought out.
