Isn't very fond of her name. Her parents (most likely her stupid father) probably tried to come up with a name that has some deeper meaning, but in her opinion it's just weird. She prefers Nia.

The stare

When Elenia catches sight of something that interests her, she tends to stare intensely at it with a blank expression. This also applies to people, who feel rather uncomfortable, because her stares can take a while. This habit makes her appear dumb, but actually she thinks things through very carefully. She only ends her stare when she comes to a satisfactory conclusion to whatever was occupying her mind.

Her reputation as a twit is amplified by her bluntness. She doesn't beat around the bush and never minces words. It's no surprise that this repeatedly causes trouble for her. Not many can handle a really honest person. And Elenia is just that. She is honest to a T. She would never lie. You can always take her words at face value. She doesn't understand why so many people lie all the time and she dislikes whoever hides their true intentions or feelings.

No arms? No problem! Well, almost.

There are different types of harpies. Some have human arms and a separate pair of wings. Others have some kind of hands or fingers attached to their 'elbows'. With them they can manage to accomplish a lot of things, albeit a bit clumsy. And there are kinds who only have wings without any human counterpart at all. Elenia is part of the last group. This means she is very restricted in many things that humans normally can do.

She makes up for this disadvantage with her feet. They act like her hands. Her legs are very flexible and she can reach behind her ear without any problems. She can easily eat with them. In nature, she simply grabs her prey or fruit and then gnaws on them. In human society she tries to be more refined, but she still holds her food directly between her claws. She asks for a bowl of water beforehand to wash her feet. Speaking of bowls, she can even have soup by holding a bowl with her feet.

Clothes... A problem.

Clothes are the biggest issue in her daily routine. To put it simply: She can't dress herself. Undressing is simple by pulling on the strings, but putting them back on is impossible for her. Still she likes to bathe. Whenever she does, she simply walks up (or flies to) a nearby person and asks them to dress her afterwards. It's quite the sight… Just imagine, you walk through the woods and suddenly a harpy lands before you, butt naked. While holding her clothes with her foot, she extends the leg towards you and commands you to dress her. A usual conversation goes like this.

"Dress me."

"W-what? Why?"

"I can't do it myself."

At this point most people don't know how to respond to such direct and logical reasoning and do as they are told. She prefers to ask women, but if none can be found she also approaches men. But be careful. Too much staring or intentional touching might end in bodily harm.

Don't be stupid. Don't pick a fight.

Elenia is a great fighter. You shouldn't make the grave mistake and think that she is an easy target just because she has no arms. Her legs aren't just flexible, they are stupidly strong as well.

She once stated matter of factly, that she can easily crush skulls with them. Considering her honest nature, nobody wanted to hear any details and refrained from asking further questions about it. Besides from her strength it's easy to see that her claws are very sharp and big. Don't mess with her. 

Nevertheless, you don't have to be afraid of her either. She is never looking for trouble and acts only in self defense, or in defense of others. Quite a lot of bandits were interrupted by a sudden impact from the sky. Once the dust settled, a furious harpy had already taken out a bunch of them.

She has a reputation of an oddball, but also earned the gratitude and respect of many by her selfless deeds. What's her opinion about this? She doesn't care. When she sees bad guys, she beats them up. It's as simple as that.

Let's talk about her love life

She is a free bird in more than one sense. Her direct and open manner carries over to her love life as well. When she feels attracted to someone, she will simply approach them and ask if that person wants to have intercourse with her. She doesn't care about species or gender. When she has her eyes set on someone she follows her instincts. But she never pushes anyone into sleeping with her. If the other party isn't interested she leaves it at that and simply steps away.

You should note, that albeit her being very open about the whole topic, she isn't easy to have or sleeps around all the time. She has many partners. Some just for one night, some for many years. Men are usually short encounters, while she has multiple women she likes to visit from time to time. Why is it like that? Apparently most men are dumb and boring and only good for one thing. Women are more interesting. At least that is what she says to that topic. She even views some of them as her lovers. In her opinion, being in love doesn't mean that you have to be at that person's side all the time. Apparently, her partners feel likewise. Being honest through and through, Elenia always plays with open cards. As long as everyone is happy, there is no reason to despise them for their way of living.

Nia's little lovenest (don't call it a harem or she will kick you)

Leda - A fellow harpy which was rescued by Nia. After fighting off bandits back to back, they washed themselves at a nearby lake. One thing led to another (which means Nia seduced Leda on the spot) and they fell in love till this day.
