Zephyr.
Born as part of a breeding ceremony Zephyr was raised affectionately by a village of artisans. They were peaceful hard workers and happily had Zephyr holding a hammer before se could even walk. At a young age he became particularly close to a few of the mentors who focused on metal and leather smithing and he quickly picked up the trade himself to follow in their footsteps. He admired their work and spent much of his time with the older retired paladins who filled the workshop with their stories.
As he got older his energy never wavered and almost became too much for the village to keep up with. He was frequently put on a fetch quest to gather materials or foraging because it kept him busy. One evening on one off these quests when the rains had made the earth wet he stayed unaware of the trees ahead uprooting themselves from the loose dirt.The mouse he had ran off to the village startled, leaving him with a broken leg pinned under one of the fallen trees for what felt like hours. When the mouse led some of the other fae back he laid unconscious. They decided it was best that it was too mangled to keep and he lost it up to the worst breaking point mid thigh. It was the best they could offer with the care they had in such a small place.
He spent a lot of time with fae who helped him work through a majority of his feelings about the accident. It took him a while before he returned to his hobbies and even more to realize perhaps the village was too small for him. He spent time healing and preparing for many years before se went after their new goal, to become a paladin just as many of his elders had. Se would help others as they helped him.
Fresh to his oath after years of work things were normal until he was met with a much larger problem than anything he had dealt with before. The life dew was gone. Spectre Corps had come only shortly after and continued to throw his world for a loop. Suspicious at first due to what he was told by his elders of earth he couldn’t help but warm up to them quickly, and made what he considered fond friends with many of them. In the end when all became settled he was offered by Haskell to come with temporarily to get some care for his leg but in return quickly decided to help the team who saved his home, becoming part of SC for this chapter in his life.
Zephyr is the friendliest airhead you’d meet, being a bundle of a sunshine retriever. Se loves people and being around as many as he can at once, and will do whatever he can to make everyone as involved as they can be. His persistence to friendship can be overwhelming, and he struggles to pick up signals when someone doesn’t enjoy being around him. He sees the absolute best in everyone and doesn’t believe bad people exist leading him to justify even the worst of actions he knows. The environment in Elfame and how they’ve handled their problems has led him to being naive to a lot of the complexities of earth and absolutely show when he interacts with people from there.
Paladin
The fae are a noble and chivalrous bunch, who make sacred oaths of protection. They gain their strong abilities from the wings bestowed upon them when they are knighted.
