Occupation: In her day to day life, Kalin is a farmhand at a local ranch, but if you ask anyone who lives nearby, they'd describe her as a hero. Kalin is always there when someone needs help carrying a heavy crate, or caught in a burning building, or needs to get a cat down from a tree. Her personality is cheery and brash, but underneath it all is a gentleness usually reserved for children and animals, both of which seem to love her.  She'd heard of the tear and was coming to check it out herself, apparently intending to close it all on her own.
