Makok

Appearance
Makok is strong in build like any orc.  He's 210 cm tall, but moves in a surprisingly agile manner like most in  his clan used to as hunters. Makok has big, long scars in his right  arm, caused by an angry bear. In his left arm he has a simple,  ornamental sleeve tattoo resembling a bear paw - to retell the story how  Makok brought down the very same bear. His skin is a tone of blueish  olive, and his eyes have greyish blue irises and black sclera. His hair  is blueish grey, strong, long and curly, almost mane-like, with multiple  small braids here and there. Makok likes to keep his hair practically  tied back, which also leaves the shaven sides of his head visible. His  beard he keeps tied with a metal bead.

Makok's attire is often  different shades of warm brown, sand and terracotta. Clothes are  practical, except maybe for the heavy and big bear pelt he likes to  wear.

Backstory
Makok used to be a  relatively regular orc, living in an orc clan in the wilderness near a  northern mountain. This clan was traditionally hunters, most of the  members being excellent at this skill. Furs and meat were traded with  other orc clans to gain resources they could not make themselves. The  clan sought no conflict or war, being a rather peaceful community.
This  all was chanced when a closest town of humans decided to start  obliterating nearby life forms they saw as a hindrance - this particular  clan they felt stole their game from them. Leaning on the support of  powerful witches the humans dared to try an ambush against the orcs -  and succeeded. Most of the clan was gone without having time to counter  attack or resist. Two survived, and against all proper behavior of an  orc, they fled to the forest. Makok was one of them.

Later they  would return to collect resources, packing whatever they needed, and  leaving the clan ground for good. They would settle a little further  away, retreating to a spot in the forest the humans and witches would  not find. Traumatized from the event, Makok and the other orc build  their new houses close to one another, but not quite side by side. They  rarely meet, even when they are just a short walk away from each other.
