Starlightshine was the first king who decided to take the territory known as Nyota Estuary and decided to build a grand pride filled with lions from near and far. His renowned kindness and wisdom as a leader lead many lionesses admire him on first meeting and many joined his pride only after short conversations. It was a sanctuary with Starlightshine as ruler, caring for all who showed him kindness in return. It was this kindness as well that kept possible challengers away, for the king had words to sooth even a charging rhino at times and this kept many possible threats at bay as he devoted much of his time mingling within his pride and spreading good among them.
