Clarity is the main villain of Living Nightmares and creator of the  Hexes. She is centuries old, the child of a human man and a living  vessel of magic - both long deceased. Her goal is to gain control of the  magicals' Cauldron and amass magical power in the form of despair and  other painful human emotions in order to make a wish that will alter the  world forever - and rectify her greatest regret.

She is cold, cruel, and manipulative, seeming to hate humanity as a  whole. Clarity will use anyone as a tool to get what she wants; under  her strict composure is a pained desperation, and the belief that she  has gone too far to waver now, no matter the cost.

Generally, she appears stoic and carries a calculating air. She often  weaponizes a kind demeanor, however, to sway her Hexes to her will -  though she is more than capable of exerting a more direct form of  control over them, including complete possession of their bodies and  wills.
