The Mechanical, or Mecha for short, is a cyborg Slugcat that was created by the Iterator "Dragon's False Breath". Mecha begins their journey within their creator's can, never knowing the outside world but going through many simulations from their creator to prepare for it. Dragons knew their structure would not last forever, and created their little companion as a way to avoid rotting for eternity, like the other Random Gods who surrounded them.
They welded a screen into Mecha's body when they were young, but the scars still last. Dragons transported themself into the slugcat's body, living within their mechanical parts. But, having such a large source of power moved into a small body took a huge toll on The Mechanical, and for that, their bodies now suffer together.
Regardless, The Mechanical is a tough creature and they refuse to die in a world they're only beginning to see the beauty of. Along with Dragon's False Breath, they explore the world of Rain and Snow, a cyborg Slugcat and their precious, special burden.
