Japheth

Japeth is the eldest son of Haranchi, head of the wandering pride. He has been raised exclusively as a nomad, and although he has encountered stationary prides, he still finds the idea incredibly strange. He takes his role as the pride's heir very seriously, and dedicates most of his time to memorizing the pride's route.

His mother, Yatara, was killed by a lion from another pride.

When separated from his pride, Japheth becomes anxious and impatient.
