Marcus (Marc) Castelle

-Phoenix sorcerer. He's always had a latent talent for magic and an obsession with fire, but nobody knew why. He was adopted and raised by a couple with no magic abilities, so they sent him off to a private school for magic users when he was old enough. He passed for an exceptionally skilled and studious wizard there, but in reality, his skills were latent, and he never actually had to study. 

-He became cocky due to his latent abilities and he was quick to show off or lord his talent over others.

-love for birds, he has a way with them and they are drawn to him. He has several "pet" finches that live around his property. They sleep in his home at night, and they are free to come and go during the day. 

-only uses fire magic. It's the only type of magic that comes easily to him.
