Abyss

By all rules and definitions, Abyss is not alive. It is the physical embodiment of the abyss located underneath Nuvrenth, created by Vanara to strengthen his and Thyrumil's abyssal powers and Dyramil's Dream magic. Nuvrenth being a Northern city is what caused its more Northern look. With Thyrumil's death Abyss doesn't exist anymore, sealed away back in the abyss, but when it was 'alive' it stalked the streets of Nuvrenth and occasionally Xyhramil, using its Dream magic to locate and hunt down any Dreamwalkers and attempt to kill them so they join the Abyssal Spirits instead and further strengthen it (and Thyrumil). It was brutal in its assaults, using both magic and physical strength to fight, but its favourite weapon was its many spikes that adorned its body.
