Kade

Kade grew up in a relatively peaceful time. There weren't any major crises and everything seemed fine. That was until, one day, monsters emerged from the depths of the earth, claiming the land they believed as rightfully theirs. Life turned upside down as these monsters ravaged their world and people struggled for power amongst them. Over time, the more greedy people managed to take control over some of these monsters, using them to bring power for themselves. In this dystopia, people like Kade struggled to survive.

Kade had survived without being harmed by these monsters for a long time until they tried to protect their best friend from one. This sprawling mess of ooze that threatened to swallow anything in its path whole, characterised by bright yellow rows of teeth in a twisted smile. Saving their friend, Kade was swallowed up by the beast and waking, cursed and alone, in a time before anything had even happened.

Eventually, Kade discovered that they had woken in a time before any monsters had left the world, a peaceful time again. Kade tried hard as possible to convince others that an apocalypse was going to come soon, yet was only matched with strange looks. They clearly considered them insane. Their new-found side effects of their curse did not help, moments where they felt as though they were losing their mind. Still struggling to try and do something about the oncoming doom of this timeline, Kade still has not come to terms that there might not be anything they can do.
