Appearance Description:

S'loo has a petite (5'3"), boyish, mostly human build with some draconic features. Even though she's a full dragon, she's permanently stuck in a partial shifted form. Her tan skin is smooth with no scales, and her blue eyes look human. Even S'loo's hair doesn't stand out much except for the colour - a faded purplish-blue. Her hair is medium length, usually getting in her eyes. The draconic features, though, are quite noticeable - Dark purple antlers, blue downward pointed deer-like ears, little blue dragon wings, and a blue dragon tail with a puff of fur on the tip. S'loo also has a long blue reptilian tongue. Her fingers are fused together, not quite claws, not quite hands.

S'loo's style is somewhat varied, a mix of pants and skirts, but she does prefer light clothes which keep her stomach and back bare, especially during the summer when it's more easy for her to overheat. She like pearls and various shades of blue the best but will wear other colours on occasion. Her voice is a little deep for a girl, but what's more noticeable is its raspy, almost gravelly quality.

Personality Description: 

A generally sad, somewhat morbid girl, S'loo feels like a burden and has the persistent idea that she'll probably die early. She was never really able to interact with the other dragons growing up, sheltered and treated as fragile. She's timid and sometimes too reliant on other people because she was never taught that she could be self sufficient or strong on her own. Perpetually sick, S'loo is convinced she's weak, not just physically. She's dealt with a lot of shunning, bullying, and discrimination. Even the dragons that didn't treat her as something useless or defective were mostly overprotective. She sees herself as a helpless victim, but she is quiet about it. She doesn't complain or speak her mind out loud, just seemingly agreeing with any criticism and going along with people.

Underneath her beaten down exterior she's a bit sneaky, always watching. She collects other people's secrets and would be the type to blackmail if she thought anyone would listen. S'loo knows how to get out of things, how to hide, make herself unnoticeable. She also has an investigative spirit and enjoys stories about spies, secret codes, and mysteries.

Active Abilities: 

Snow Breath - Can breath out a cloud of snow to about 5 feet. It melts as quickly as (almost instantly in hot weather) and generally behaves like normal snow. Draws on moisture from the air, can't produce in dry weather.

Snow Manipulation - Can manipulate snow already present but not plain ice. All snow within sight. Can manipulate a tennis ball worth at a time. Throwing it, as a cloud surrounding her, or packed in to make sculptures.

Snow Camouflage - Can turn herself white to blend in with the snow as long as she's making skin contact with it. Can camouflage her entire body or just part. Nearly instant and doesn't require much concentration to maintain. 

Passive Abilities: 

Claws - Hands permanently fused into four-fingered claws. Tips are sharp as steel. Fingers have no joints, so she can't bend them.

Predatory Senses - Sight and Smell on the level of a top predator. Doesn't get snow blindness. Hearing only slightly above average.

Enhanced Physique - Weak for a dragon but still as strong as an athletic human male. Can make a standing vertical jump of about 5'.

Ice Balance - Will not slip on ice if walking on it barefoot.

Cold Resistance - Can tolerate temperatures as low as -10C before being negatively physically affected.

Extended Lifespan - While most of the ice dragons live about 30,000+ years, S'loo's expected natural lifespan, barring complications, is only about 3,000 years before she turns to an ice sculpture due to her genetic defect. 

Weaknesses: 

Fire Vulnerability - Fire burns twice as much and even being near a campfire makes her uncomfortably dehydrated.

No sweat - Cools off by panting and is susceptible to overheating, especially in enclosed spaces, like a dog.

Fragile Bones - Bones are easily broken or fractured, comparable to an elderly human.

Illness - Has trouble breathing and is easily fatigued. Takes twice as much damage from smoke/dust attacks that block her airways. Will pass out sooner from lack of oxygen.

Biography: 

Born into the Rukt'in clan, S'loo hatched later than she should have, making her the younger sister to Whisp Rukt'in instead of the older. Her parents were relieved when she did finally hatch. Unfortunately, S'loo was born with a genetic defect that meant she was permanently stuck between forms, unable to fly, and much weaker than the other dragons. This led to a lot of shunning and bullying from old school dragons calling her weak. And the ones who didn't bully her still babied her and treated her like a fragile thing. The fact that she figured out she was transgender at an early age barely registered compared to her sickliness. S'loo quickly learned to be sneaky, avoiding interactions as much as possible, and taking advantage of the protectiveness of her parents and sister.

When her sister decided to go to Manta Carlos S'loo's parents made her get brought along. They didn't really want S'loo out of their sight, but they hoped maybe the island would have a cure for her condition.
