Ellymint

A sorcerer who lives in a big house at the outskirts of a city in Somnis, accompanied by Harris, her demon cat familiar. 

She occupies her time with making dolls of different kinds; though on commission, she's able to make poppets(*) that can house souls; granting bodies to ghosts using said poppets as a nucleus. A physical, meat body forms around the poppet, allowing the ghost to move as if they were alive. However, this links the soul and the doll in a way that if the body is destroyed, the soul may be destroyed along with it as well. In this case, the physical body vanishes, leaving only the broken poppet behind. As long as the ghost takes care of the body, the poppet and link can last indefinitely. Still, it's hard to find a compatible enough doll for every ghost, and materials from when they were alive are required.

The first work of this kind she made was that of her little sister, Anjabel. After keeping her sister's soul in a sealed jar for years after her death, Ellymint went to non-human lengths to create a poppet compatible enough with her using Anja's favorite doll. After a long time as an asocial shut-in, she ended her research in Somnis, after forming a pact with Harris; where she slowly opened up to the world again.
