Anat

Anat was born in Shinii'ra, the capital of the desert region V'erlor. From a young age, she was very curious and ambitious, enjoying the development of her skills. Most of the time, school couldn't offer her what she needed, so around the age of twelve, she sought out Shani (Sayo), who was very well-traveled and talented in the area of sealing techniques. She began studying under her guidance and finally felt she had found her path. Unfortunately, both women had rather fiery temperaments, leading to arguments that eventually resulted in the end of their collaboration after a few years. Anat never had the chance to speak with Sayo again. This fact weighs heavily on her to this day, and she regrets that they did not reconcile before Sayo's death.

After parting ways with Sayo, Anat set out on her own journey and joined a small organization that promised research activities. Anat developed a fondness for their leader, but he turned out to be a not-good person, and the organization gradually went astray under his leadership. During one of their dubious activities, Anat broke free from her youthful naivety and sought out Nomu, a former partner of Sayo. He helped her escape from the clutches of the questionable group and return to the path that fulfilled her the most: the research of sealing techniques. At the same time, a close and strong bond formed between the broken man and Anat, which eventually led to a romantic relationship.

In addition to her profession, Anat also takes care of young Sayo, Nomu's daughter, who inherited her name from her mother. She tries to make up for everything she regrets about her original mentor through the girl. Despite dedicating a lot of time to her research work, she always finds time for her family as well as her hobbies. She enjoys swimming, yoga, poker (which she also learned from Sayo), flower arranging, and cultural events like theater. She can easily be described as a temperamental woman who is confident and hardworking, but also very possessive, jealous, and not always fair.

Anat is a woman with olive-tonned skin and long black hair, which she usually wears loose. A significant feature of her face are her dark, almond-shaped eyes and a scar that runs from her lower lip to her chin. She has symbols resembling hieroglyphs imprinted into her skin around her wrists, ankles, and in a line on her abdomen and back, which allow her to use her sealing techniques. She is most often seen in stylish clothing, favoring elegant overalls. She is accompanied by a scent that may be described as a mixture of rose and amber; her favorite foods include pasta salads, fish, and maqluba.
