CHARACTERISTICS: Quiet and thoughtful, she has warrior training combined with an artist's mind. She is calm and relaxed in nature but when trouble strikes can be spontaneous and reckless. She acts on impulse and her warrior instinct takes over. She is always willing to help others though and can often be the voice of reason with a high moral standing.

Saros was born in Icy Cavern and lived with her mother Polaris until she was killed in active service for the Peace Keepers. Saros was sent to the Artisan World for safety and raised by the artist Delbin. The adjustment to the tranquil life was difficult as prior to her mothers death she was being prepped to become a Peace Keeper Soldier. However she showed a natural talent for artistry and excelled in her studies, using it as an outlet for her thoughts and feelings.

Her father is Titan, leader of the Peace Keepers. He did not live with her and Polaris in Icy Cavern as his duties lay in the Homeworlds. And although he rarely shows affection towards his daughter, he loves her very much and regrets not being able to look after her full time after her mother died.

Being the same age as Spyro, Gnasty's spell also missed Saros as she was sent running for cover into the maze in the Artisan World. It is here that she bumps into Spyro, accidentally attacking him in self defense before she realises he is not a threat. The pair know of each other but rarely interacted until this moment due to their different crafts.
