- Atropos was named because the purpose of her creation was to defeat a being codenamed Clotho that was trying to hijack the Dreamscape for her own purposes. That's why she doesn't look like what you'd expect from an Atropos.
- She sticks around after smacking sense into Clotho to oversee the Dreamscape. Strange things start happening though- the remnants of Clotho's corruption start causing dungeons/hotspots/"Hives" where distortions are occurring. The Hives are an analogue to Palaces; it seems that Clotho's intervention made it so that some especially strong cognitions could form manifestations in the Dreamscape. Naturally, they cause trouble. Investigation reveals that the Hives are more massive in scale and danger than Clotho's dungeon was, so Atropos calls in some help.
- She tries to contact people in the physical world, but the nature of the Dreamscape makes it a bit of a crapshoot as to which physical world she's contacting. She ends up creating her own equivalent of the Velvet Room, or at least a space between dreams/the collective unconscious and reality. Sasha, Raz, Luca, Noel, and others end up recruited for the undertaking of exploring/documenting the distortions left in Clotho's wake.
