Stratus | He/They

Stratus is a Pine Marten who was “taken in” by a scientist when he was incredibly young, along with who he previously would’ve called his siblings.

They were essentially experimental vessels for pure elemental energy. One element per sibling; Air, Nature, Fire, Water, and Light.

Stratus is the air element vessel. He adapted to his changes far faster than his siblings, to the point they believed he suffered no negative side-effects of the procedure. He did, in fact, he was in severe agony as his insides slowly dissolved and morphed into living clouds; He just buried it all deep and refused to show any weakness to anybody.

Due to this and his compliance, the scientist favoured him far more than the others.

With the understanding that if they gained the scientist’s favor that they’d be free, his siblings eventually gained up on him and ripped his arms off to try and kill him.

Though remember when his insides were dissolving into clouds? Those clouds started spilling out of his limbs rapidly, wrapping around his siblings and suffocating/strangling them. In the chaos Stratus managed to escape the lab though.

He has braces on his arms where they were torn off to keep his internal clouds contained and stable. Otherwise they start spilling out rapidly. Nowadays he does have control over them though. He can grab, crush and even (attempt to) stab with them. He can also turn them into mist/fog and even increase the amount of acid content in them.

He can also control regular clouds due to Air Elemental™️ but don’t worry about that.

Also fun fact; His boots can solidify the air beneath them. So he can essentially walk and run on the air. Yes he uses this to stand 7 feet in the air out of people’s reach to mock them like a bastard.

The clouds around his neck/tail change with emotions- Specifically they get darker and thicker when mad. Other emotional reactions we uhhh don’t know yet
