koi worked in the army with a soldier. she didn't pay much attention to him unless needed, but it was obvious she loved him. narcos's trainer and koi's trainer were mutual with eachother, and often worked together in wars. one day, just a normal day, they were resting in an abandoned house used as a base. suddenly, a large object was thrown in with a flashing light on it. they automatically recognized it as a bomb. not knowing what to do, one of the humans jumped out the broken window resulting in them tearing their thigh open from a piece of glass. the other ran to the door and tried to open it but failed as there was too much resistance. someone was holding it closed. the person still inside the house resorted to climbing out of another less-sharp window, the light flashing quicker and brighter. narcos panicks and looks at koi with a terrified look, and jumps onto the bomb. koi is forced to leave due to the two soldiers calling to him. he turns to see narcos curled on top of the bomb, crying. it explodes and koi is left with major burn marks, but narcos isn't as lucky. narcos dies but saved 4 lives. the murderer's, koi's, and the two soldiers. after this event koi was traumatized and would often skip meals, still seeing the clear photos of narcos getting killed meters away from him. he starved, almost to death, but the humans force fed him. about 3 months later he went on another mission, both him and the soldier still shaken up and more cautious. they're walking down a dusty path, when someone comes- shooting at them. koi sprints up, trying to protect the only living creature he loves, and bites the assassin's arm causing the killer to drop the gun. while the gun is falling, the trigger pulls one last time. through koi's stomach and into the murderer's abdomen. once again, a dog sacrificed their life to save others. the soldier has unknown whereabouts currently.
