Emi is energetic, cheerful, and fast-moving. The world she lives in is an abstract one- a city of floating buildings, thick fog, and neon lights, where the laws of physics and gravity don't always work the way they should. She works as a freelance delivery-person, carrying fragile packages of abstract concepts between important addresses. It's rumored that there exists a whole reality "outside" of the city, and that the city is just the abstract "core" that said reality is structured around. Emi knows about this theory, but she isn't too worried about it. She's got way more interesting things to be doing, like mastering advanced roller-blade tricks and racing through the city's non-euclidean streets.
