02 — Personality
Delta doesn’t like seeing others being hurt or going through painful experiences. He wants to help as best as he can but when those who threaten his family or friends refuse to stop, he can get very defensive for them.
Delta knows how to fight for himself and for others. He mostly stays on the defensive side until the other creature gives up and runs off, however, if this does not happen Delta would not throw away the possibility of fighting and may attack.
When Delta isn’t fighting for himself or others, he likes to sleep near the water. The sounds of waves crashing and moving sooth him and helps him feel like hes at home again.

03 — Background
When Delta was younger, he was terrified of flying. He would do anything an everything to get out of it. He loved to swim and when his big brother, Dover, pushed him off the cliff to encourage him to fly, Delta made it a point to run away from home forever.
Late into the night Delta swam and swam as far as his tiny paws could carry him. He got some help from nearby sea creatures that brought him to shore on a beach. Delta, exhausted, fell asleep near one of the bushes until morning. When Delta woke up, he saw a small brown fuzzy katadoron watching him, one this katadoron noticed Delta was staring at him, he quickly scurried off into the brush.
Delta convinced the young kitten to come out. When they asked Delta what he was doing he scoffed and talked about how he was never going to fly and he ran away from home and would never go back. The brown kitten looked sad and shocked, he told Delta he always dreamt of flying, Delta asked why didn't he just fly then? The kitten looked nervous for a moment before walking out of the bushes and held up his wings, they were torn and tattered.
This young kitten, named Dylan, made and impact on Deltas life. Dylan told Delta some of his story and Delta decided to become Dylans friend. “Go back to your family, Delta, and learn how to fly!” Dylan persuaded. Delta found his brother searching for him on the beach and with a glance at his friend, decided to run back to his brother and leapt onto him. Delta was flown back to his home, while he looked over Dovers shoulder, watching the island and beach disappear, he saw a pink circle open in the distance. Squinting, he could see it led to a different world of reds and oranges. He thought he saw something come out of it. Delta told Dover to look at what it was but the mysterious portal had vanished. What was that all about? Delta had thought.
Once Delta returned home he kept his promise to Dylan and worked hard to fly. Delta then was able to fly all the way back to that lonely beach where he met up with this strange katadoron once more.

Deltas red and yellow face marking are based off of the red eared slider turtle!
Deltas horns were originally pincers

For traditional art I do not mind if deltas body is colored in as blue or purple!
05 — Relationships
Best friend
Dylan is Deltas best friend. Dylans older than Delta and much more mature too. He knows all about the forest and survival tips that he passes down to Delta.
Dylan is always there for Delta and keeps him company during his time away from his family. Dylan is supportive and has lots of life lessons that he shares.

Skyla is a fighter and has an attitude. She is hard to get the trust of and she doesn’t like most people. She cares deeply about her religion but doesn’t share it often.
Skyla comes from a broken family and she is broken herself. She can't handle stressful situations and whenever she is stressed out, she gets feisty, witty, and has a sharp tongue. She might say things she doesn't mean to the people she loves and will apologize for it after she calms down.
