Suri had gone missing. Again. While her bodyguard was frantically searching all her usual hangouts, the aforementioned girl was leisurely sitting atop a monkey bar jungle gym, swinging her legs without a care in the world. Being the daughter of a rich CEO business type was exhausting and sometimes Suri just needed to get away from all the dinners and social events. From a glance, you wouldn’t think Suri was from the upper echelons of society: an unassuming, frivolous girl with a blank stare that made people think only air was in her head. People were always surprised when they learned who her family was. The moment they did, their attitude towards her would change completely. It was always the same. Always. No wonder Suri had a perpetual blank look on her face. She stopped looking at others because they never truly looked at her either. Her family wasn’t even worried about her laissez-faire attitude; she would be put in an arranged marriage anyways, so as long as she didn’t do anything horrendous, she could do whatever she liked, could buy whatever she wanted. A blessed life some would say, but for Suri it was boring as hell.

Her bodyguard suddenly appeared, all out of breath, worry all over his face. It made a twinge of guilt shoot through Suri’s usual placid façade. One of the main reasons why she hadn’t gone full rebellious mode was because of her bodyguard. He had been with her for a long time and even though it was his job, Suri still gave him bonus points for sticking around for so long.

Without any warning, she stood up, balancing atop the bars before jumping off and landing deftly on her feet with surprising grace. Her bodyguard merely sighed, either from relief or exasperation she couldn’t tell. Suri’s expression didn’t change as she started the walk back home, with her bodyguard faithfully behind her.
