Before living with them, he lived with his birth parents Arokka and Morryl along with his sister, Duela in Doma.
Doma was attacked, he became separated from Duela and the fate of their parents unknown.
Wandering alone, he was picked up by a local blacksmith and his wife.
As De'alos grew, he was still searching for his sister.

✦ The Story Thus Far

Stormblood
De'alos goes to his parents' homeland, the Azim Steppe even though he's considered an outsider, however some Xaela's remember his parents. To prove himself, he goes through Bardam's Mettle. He completed the challenge, although losing an eye in the process. De'alos continues to stay in the Azim Steppe for a while longer and becomes one of the finest warriors. Even though he's been having an extended stay in the steppe it doesn't stop him from trying to locate his sister.

Shadowbringers
During their initial trip to the first, while in the aetherial sea, a catastrophic incident happened in which everyone's aether was forcefully ripped from their physical forms causing them all to lose conciousness. De'alos, the only one at the time able to comprehend what was happening managed to channel everyones aether back into his body and syphon them back to them, but due to the over-abundance of aether gathered in his body all at once he suffered catastrophic consequences. Upon arriving in the first and receiving treatment, he seemed stable for days and months afterwards, but soon enough De'alos started to feel the effects of what happened and began having difficulties coming to realize his condition was not temporary. Upon further treatment it was discovered his Aether had become severly corrupted and destroyed. What was left of it was becoming harder to channel and manipulate. After the defeat of Elidibus, his condition continued to deteriorate even further, so much so that he lost vision in his left eye rendering him blind.

Endwalker
Upon returning to the source with the group, he is given immediate medical attention. They then travel to Sharlayan and he is under constant care. Upon multiple Aether transfusions and other treatments, they are deemed no longer working and De'alos becomes worse, but being the person he is, he doesn't let his friends know how much he is suffering. The signs of the corruption are starting to physically show now especially on his scales, and later on he loses his hearing as well.

Duela Ouranos	Sister, whom he holds very dear to him. Will stop at nothing to find her and make sure she's safe.
Duelo Ouranos	Very standoffish with him at first but has grown to view him as his own brother.
Viria Atlas	His partner whom he met while traveling.

● De'alos is carefree most of the time, but he can get serious when need be.
● Very promiscuous and wouldn't deny the proposition of casual sex/intimacy.
● Roserock is not his real last name, he took the last name of his adopted parents.
● Given name is Naran (Sun or Hero) Tumen (Unit of 10,000)
