Sanni

She is the main character from my oneshot ‘weather child'.

Now it's a serialization on: Webtoons, Tapas, MPC and Tumblr

The weather changes by her feelings. 

Sanni lives in a monastery her entire life without any contact with any other people, only the nuns from the monastery.

After a weird encounter with a boy of her age, Edmond, she started to disobey the orders to never talk to any outsider and to not step out from the forbidden grounds.

She creates friends and started to experience new feelings like fear, regard, love, friendship, etc, and this makes the weather even more unstable.

Sanni is a sweet girl who loves nature and really has a sweet tooth.

She loves Maria(from the monastery) as a big sister or mother figure. 

She became best friends with Müller, Chloe, and Edmond, and she loves to go out with Yuri and Ben.

She sees Ann as a mother in most of the time, and Ann treats Sanni as a daughter as well.

Chloe is like a big sister (or "dad" lol) to her and the only one who knows her true identity.

Sanni complains about life and vents a lot with Chloe and Müller.

She never meet her parents and no one ever told anything about them to her.

Sanni has a complicated relationship with Carla who hates her because of Edmond, but has a good relationship with Luka, Carla's twin brother.

And we can't forget Lea, the girls who have a crush on Sanni and is always trying to help Sanni with everything she can.

• She has a sweet addiction

• Her favorite candy is strawberry mint ice cream, but unfortunately no one gives ice cream as offering
• She only eats one meat, it's fish, and is really rare.
• Sanni is a shoe collector, she is always getting shoes from people who lost or forgot near the forbidden grounds, the reason she sometimes shows using REALLY BIG shoes. (and one asked about the Edmond shoe)
• She loves to play on nature, even after had contact with technology.
• Sanni never studied in a school or meet any other child since her 13 years old.
• Before she meets Edmond the nuns create a birthday for her on 25 December, she decided by herself with Edmond her birthday was now on 1 January (the day they meet)

T r i v i a

1. I made this story when I was a child, it was a dream that I found it lost in an old notebook and decided to create this comic based on it.
2. Her name Sanni was chosen because of the pun with "sunny" since she loves (with reason) sunny days and because of all the meanings I found on the internet about this name, most f them related to Nature. For example, in Finnish, Sanni means lily, this flower that means purity and innocence, since Sanni main color is a greeny blue, a blue lily is a symbol of the sun and a sign of rebirth in Egyptian mythology. Blue flowers frequently are used to symbolize unreachable and magical things, like Sanni existence.
