Class; Priest - Void Proficient
Not as fanatical as her many sisters and brothers, Ardelle believes the occult merits its own form of research, one she decided to take on all by herself. She became a victim of her own craft, falling into its corrupting grip. Given mere months to hone her new powers, she developed a particularly disastrous ability of Voidraging-- giving in to her latent power and becoming one with it, for a brief period of time. She is nearly unstoppable in this form, even considered dangerous by top ranking Illidari.

Family; Keenan Blackmoon//Aeron Eventide (Elder brother)/ Bartheleous Brightstar (Bastard younger brother)/ Solsten Blackmoon (Father)/ Lunestra Blackmoon (Mother)
Thrust into the role of statecraft not long after her hundredth birthday, Ardelle became the heiress to her house upon the death of her parents and eldest brother. The middle child, not used to the limelight. She florished.

“Instead of a Dark Lord, you would have a queen,
not dark but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Tempestuous as the sea, and stronger than the foundations of the earth!
All shall love me and despair!”

Ardelle was the second child of Solsten and Lunestra Darkmoon. Born nearly a decade after her older brother, they didn't play much as they grew up, for their difference in ages made it difficult to relate to one and other. A year after her birth, her father brought home a product of his infidelity, presenting him almost like a gift to his daughter. Ardelle and Bartheleous would grow up close, despite their skewed blood relation. To her, he was her brother.
As she grew, her father attempted to teach her the ways of the arcane. Like all elves, she had some aptitude for it, but not enough to get her into a magical academy. She simply didn't have the gift, she would never be a mage. A second disappointment, just like her older brother. Both of them had instead been touched by the Light. Her father knew this was not something he could grieve publicly, so he lamented behind closed doors. He praised his daughter's genius, while at the same time, criticizing her for her lack of magical prowess. If she possessed true intellect, why didn't she show it, why wasn't she a magistrix?
Despite this, Ardelle became quite the priest. She was benevolent, and kind to the people brought to the Sunspire, often times healing them physically, and comforting them, both spiritually and emotionally. Healing the physical was only one aspect to the young priestess. If the mind was sick, the body would follow. She was not only a good healer, but she was also notably friendly to her fellow priests and priestess, striking up several friendships and even coming to know a fellow priest more as a brother than a friend, until he joined her family as her older brother, Keenan's husband.
When the Scourge came to Silvermoon, she had been shocked. She had already seen her brother-in-law come back, informing her of her brother's death in Windrunner Village. Then, they took both of her parents from her. Only herself, her younger brother Bartheleous, and her brother-in-law Terras escaped. Her older brother joined the ranks of the damned, and was not freed until years later from the grasp of the Lich King.
The priestess threw herself into research, as though this would fill some kind of void in her heart that steadily grew the longer the elves remained in the Horde. She made friends, and joined groups, but never for long. The only constant was her research, and the subject changed little, shifting from Saronite, to the Sha, to even worse still, the Pale. Up until the events on Draenor, she considered herself a battle-priest. A master of both the dark and light sides of priestly powers. It was not until an explosive moment on the Broken Shore that her dark apotheosis occurred, corrupting her into the shadow priestess many people know to this day. Unusually, for a shadow priestess, she kept her cheery demeanor. She kept her sweetness, her benevolence. But for how long?

A figure draped in red is a quick description of the woman. A dress as bright vermilion red as the dark, win red hair on her head, cut short as of recent events in order to crudely disguise the priestess in plain sight. A smile always graced her lips, a quiet, sweet smile. Almost like a mother's, and a set of gentle eyes, turned down in a way to always look sad accompany them, with eyebrows that seem to droop, but gracefully so.
Her body is wrapped in a red dress, the material heavy enough to be worn in winter, albeit accompanied by a cloak, mittens and scarf, but light enough so that it may be worn during Quel'thalas' summer and spring, its' longest seasons. When a breeze strikes the fabric, it appears to flow, like the priestess herself is blowing in the wind. Beneath the crimson gown, are a pair of work boots, most likely either stolen from her younger brother, who is a rogue, or taken from the closet of her late father. Either option would be valid, as the boots have a fair amount of wear and tear on them.
Ardelle possesses an hourglass. She is shapely, though not without the proper padding in certain areas. Her tummy is soft, and stretchmarks from her pregnancy show on her sides. She is not without other marks, either, as she possesses two battle scars. One, right across her chest, that almost ended her life. The other, split in two on her lower left leg, are slash marks, made in an attempt to keep her from escaping. A testament to her survivability.

> She almost married a death knight, if not for the same death knight revealing his feelings her falsified the whole time. His name was Wrath. He gave her the nickname Ardelleous.
 > Ardelle owns the guildhall that goes by the cover name; "Debauched, Tavern & Inn".
 > House Blackmoon, while a noble house, is not up very high on the social food chain. House Blackmoon has always endeared itself more to the commonfolk than the nobility, and as a result, while liked by the people, most nobles find her laughable.
 > Ardelle has three children, all of whom are scattered across faction lines. Her son is a member of the Alliance, whereas one of her daughters works as a neutral party in the Kirin Tor and her youngest daughter is a paladin.
