Raised by two witches, Edalis inherited a deep connection to nature, which became the foundation of her magical abilities. Despite her gifts, she struggles with dedication and consistency, often distracted by the simpler pleasures of life. Choosing the path of a wizard over a witch puzzled her family, but they supported her decision and entrusted her training to the eccentric wizard Dierh. Known for his cryptic ways and deep connection to nature, Dierh's sudden departure left Edalis in the hands of her talking parrot, Arippus, who now guides her through her magical education.
