POWERS

• Environmental Manipulation (Earth specialization) - able to control and manipulate existing environmental features, eg. earth, metal, gravity, trees, water, ambient magic, etc, specialized to controlling anything on or under ground level but can also manipulate the air if necessary. Unable to directly manipulate creatures living or non-living. Unable to cause or create environmental features without the relevant materials being available. Normal range is a few kilometres, able to use his staff to extend his range to cover all of Renzach
  • Earth Sensory - able to sense minor movements in the earth, also able to sense the movements of creatures in and on it. This includes the insides of houses, since technically they are inside an abode made of earth
  • Earth Elemental - able to take on the passive properties of an earth elemental at will or automatically in a combat situation; eg, high strength and defense, able to fuse into the earth and re-form elsewhere or stay invisible and spy, able to re-form injured body parts from earth, strong resistance to mental influence and effects
• Life Affect - moderate affective ability over living things within his manipulative range, requires him to extend his magic inside them, usable one on one (automatically triggered whenever he's talking to or simply observing someone) or as an area of effect "pulse", able to be resisted or blocked by shields or the person's own magic
  • Empathy - able to sense and incrementally adjust the emotions and energy level of creatures living or non-living
  • Status Adjustment - able to strengthen or weaken a creature, able to grant temporary boons such as increased strength and/or defense, also able to cast or remove status effects such as stun or paralyze
  • Regen - able to extend his magic into a person to promote their recovery speed, cannot restore lost limbs/organs 
• Craft Magic Item - able to very quickly create simple magic items such as charms and talismans, and more complex items with the relevant materials and preparation
  • Item Analysis - able to analyze magic items, effectiveness depends on complexity of the item
• Spell Weave - general purpose magic for everyday use, eg. teleport, repair spells, binding spells, barrier spells, search spells, hammerspace, etc

EQUIPMENT

• Staff - a staff created within Renzach and passed down from his father, it has a special connection to all the strategically significant magic structures within Renzach and allows him to manipulate them if necessary. Also allows him to cast elemental magic of earth, fire and light property

• Strongest in his home turf of Renzach
• Unable to manipulate corruption

NOTES

• He (and everyone else in Renzach) is terrified of the patriarch and dictator, Joseph Sulla
• Was the product of a long-running project to strengthen the powers inherent within the Sulla bloodline via constant (test tube and genetically modified) inbreeding, meaning his parents were the previous set of twins, and he would most likely end up producing a set of twins with his sister, too, despite whoever they actually choose to marry
• Was raised by his father and (non-biological) mother up until his mother died and his father remarried. Has no half-siblings from his first mother, and two significantly younger half-sisters from his second. He absolutely adores them
• He's only the fifth generation archmage in 800 years, which says something about how long he's expected to live (and serve). Some of the previous archmages are still alive and serving in an advisory capacity
• Despite his image, he is very much the housekeeper type of husband. He’s good at cooking, cleaning, looking after kids . . . and has been consistently voted Renzach’s most eligible bachelor for years
• He has frequently and consistenly stated his romantic interest in Therese, literally from the first day they met. Not that she seems even the slightest bit interested
