Atreyu was the second born son of Sullivan, the Devil of Entropy. He never got to know who his mother was, as she ran away from her responsibilities shortly after he was born. So, he stayed with his father and his eldest sister Night at the time.

Unlike other Entropy dragons, Atreyu grew up well-behaved, and never pulled a tantrum. So dragons started questioning Atreyu and his place in the region.They felt he was best for the Serenity region, but his father kept him home despite the insistence.

Although he wasn't like other dragons, Sullivan kept his son under his wing- willing to let him make his own decisions in the future. Finding the "cause" of his behavioral difference was pointless to him.

As the years went on, Atreyu lived with his father and siblings. He was still the oddball of the family, and did things most of them wouldn't do... But he was still accepted in the family, despite the teasing and chaotic games from his sisters.

Atreyu learned to cook and clean, and went out to discover other worlds and meet new people- Like Earth. Earth was his favorite planet, because there were all different kinds of people rather than the usual "Serenity" and "Entropy".

Things were chaotic at times, but also can be very calming. There was no burden for him on who he had to be, either.

From there, he met Valeria. Valeria was the daughter of Thorn, the God of Serenity on his world. She had also grown fond of Earth, and both shared similar experiences. Together, they would explore and talk over the years. Atreyu was the happiest he can be, to be find someone to relate to.

But his happiness was cut short after Valeria's passing. Things were different again, but also the same. From that day, Atreyu became more fearful of the future, and of himself. Valeria was amazingly powerful and talented, and yet she was lost. He could not compare himself to her, and knowing his father's status, Atreyu came to question more than just Earth.

Still, he had to move on, even with a burden of questions and regrets. Things were different as they were the same- that was one thing about Earth that was frightening. But he stayed. Trying to live his life as he did even when people questioned him.
