CURRENT LOCATION: Planet of Skitsat

Cube is a small highly sociable tiny camera robot that is known for being optimistic in even the most sour of circumstances. He's bubbly and cheerful but reserved when it comes to conversation. He's more vibes... unless you're deliberately provoking conversation from him, then he's happy to oblige. He loves to ambiently record whatever interests him until his memory's full and dump all his footage on some poor other machine at a later time.

When his planet went to shit due to war, his optimism fell to deaf ears. He kept his cool even after he was separated from his beloved owner, a young quirky makeup artist. It would have been easy to believe his owner was dead, as many of their species were being killed every day - however, he knew they were still alive. He obsessively replayed the last footage he took of them every day, over-analyzing every detail. When he had a chance to escape the planet pending a signal that would deactivate all technology, he remained - as long as it meant he could spend a little while longer searching for them. And that "little while" turned into a "long, long while" after the foretold technology-purging signal just... never happened, for whatever reason.

It didn't take long for Cube to find friends in the rubble of their now-demolished society. He discovered Fresnel, a familiar bot from his owner's occupation, hiding and shaking in a hole. Cube's optimism had started to falter prior to finding Fresnel, who reinvigorated him with a sense of comfort and companionship. Together they'd find some other misfit bots left with a purpose-vacuum.

He is especially close to the gaming PC robot called Cyberus (profile TBA) he found while hanging out at an abandoned mall. Cyberus was brand-new and still in the packaging when Fresnel knocked his box over while rummaging for spare parts. He'd boot up for the first time with a cracked screen... Cube could not stop apologizing. Cube is highly fascinated by all three of his personalities and loves to dump all his footage into his system. They, in turn, like to rummage through the footage and commentate what they see. Depending on the screen speaking, the opinions wildly vary. Amusing Cyberus is probably the closest thing to a purpose Cube has felt in a long, long while.
