Oure

Oure is from a planet inhabited by non-verbal beings. Most of the communicating between him and the rest of his species is subtle but complex body movements and occasionally written language. He was sent out in a ship to gather data from a nearby asteroid but something went wrong and he woke up on Earth with his ship in pieces. 

He’s extremely intelligent but it’s hard for him to communicate because of the language barrier.
