At first glance, Xiao Li is a lady of elegance and grace— she radiates confidence, and will not hesitate to confront others if they step on her toes. Her approach to life is to challenge inconvenience and win with decency. Rather than hear a foul word or two fly out of her mouth, one would be more likely to hear her command the room with an air of authority.
However, Xiao Li's attitude is extremely self-oriented. She values herself over most everything else, and becomes offended if/when it comes to light that she is not everyone else's priorities. Xiao is also rather dense when it comes to other people's problems. Her words may come off as subtly demeaning to her peers, especially because she regards her specific sub-species as the best thing since sliced bread. Her intentions are good, but her non-mastery of the English language coupled with her egocentric personality can and will cause misunderstandings amongst others. Nevertheless, those she develops fond feelings for are guaranteed to be supported by her fierce loyalty, which does not waver easily.
精灵龙 are a species of minuscule dragons that have long since inhabited the a small wooded area on a mountain in China. These dragons, or Dragonfae, as they were called, were worshipped fervently by nearby villages. They paid respects to the tiny pixie-like dragons, who in return, danced around the clouds, bringing good weather to their devotees. Recently, however, the worship has died down. Xiao Li grows up in the midst of these changes. She often hears stories from older fae of prosperous times in the clan, when villagers laid offerings at the base of their mountain home and prayed. Seeing kneeling villagers replaced with protests, tension and even physical assault towards the near defenseless dragons pokes and prods at the pride she takes in her clan. The numbers of devotees dwindle year by year, and Xiao becomes concerned. Why are things different now? Xiao Li resolves to restore the honor of her clan; she has to do something special, something so great that the villagers will once again treat her family with respect. So, she sets out on a journey.
