He's an orphan who turned being bullied as a kid into massive anger issues as he started fighting back and beating people up instead.
He aged out of the system and went to work as soon as he could. He had a large tendency to muffle his issues with going out, drinking, smoking, hooking up with people (until he got together with his bf Jam, its a very lovely dysfunctional relationship).
