Mist Apple

[EARLY CHILDHOOD]

Mist,  then called Mallory, lived her days on a outskirts planet with xyr  sister (Mist prefers not to remember her original name) and their  mother. Everything was peaceful,, though that only lasted 14 years at  most. A giant Sin Apple Monster attacked their town, killing their  mother and leaving Mallory and their sister alive at the mercy of  Overseer. Overseer worked at Angel Corp, a corporation full of promising  young apples--and he could let them join him! They were not apples but  with nowhere to go,, they didn't have much of a choice. They could be  safe there!

Mist  was not named mist at the time, but gained a new apple form! Glass  Apple also became a fragile Glass Apple. The orginization was a frenzy,  there were so many people and all cut throat trying to get on a better  status than the other. Mist just wanted to keep her sister safe-- as she  slowly got more noteriety and raised up the ranks--even though Mist  pulled double shifts to get both of their work done. For a multiversal  evil organization they sure needed a lot of,, assassination notices.  Overseer idolized Glass Apple, but only for the work of what Mist had  done.

And,, And with all of this potential ranking going to  waste. Glass Apple could let Mist RUIN what she had. Glass Apple took  Mist on a stroll late in the evening, and got in a fight--and managed to  kill Mist. Not without getting a nasty wound that took out Glass  Apple's left eye.

[BEFORE APPLE CORP]

Mist  woke up who knows how long later,, with the new ability to see ghosts.  Dead. And now having to eat their souls to survive as a half-alive  corpse. Mist also got a knarly eye scar. Mist broke into the halls of  Apple Corp--a pocket dimension which housed the only real rival of Angel  Corp--a apple-based organization and having similar,, weird and evil  goals like them. They had a lot of ghosts in their closets--or well,,  basement but close enough.

Being found in the Apple Corp  basement--since Mist was able to break in the first place and was rather  skilled at fighting off their members. Boss, a sane Sin Apple, offered  them a place in the organization--work for them and Mist could get all  of the souls xe ever needed. A deal was made. Mist was now working for  another Corp that started with "A" Didn't matter which one at this  point,,.

Mist  kept herself isolated in this new job--same as the old one. People  tried to reach out--it was a less cut throat class. Less fighting for  power--more,, being actual coworkers. Which was weird. Mist was the best  at any mission given to her, and quickly became the best. But Mist  didn't ascend any rank for it, just an apple of the month or something.  Weird.

Before  long all the oddities came out, and Angel Corp made their move--sending  in the same Apple Beast Monster that attacked her city-killed her  mother--and everyone higher ranking was out doing other errands. It was  just Mist, a handful of other apples that couldn't defend themselves and  a giant dragon. Mist ended up killing the beast and--and in habit  absorbed the soul of the beast. There is a dangerous thing about Sin  Apples,, their souls are almost corrosive--latching onto the nearest  person and make them into one of themselves.

[APPLE CORP- AS A SIN APPLE]

Mist  (4.) quickly became one and when Boss found out, had quickly adopted  them. Xe were cared for,, Mist just couldn't push them away this time.  Mist also got two new siblings--Mobot and Wormy/Jorl. (There's more  members of the orginization but not many on AF, check out at the bottom  for their pages !!) Mist learned how to fly, learned how to open  up--well better than nothing at all--and everything was perfect. Mist  couldn't have felt better to have this weight off their chest. All these  scary changes and something good came out of it! A,, state of normalcy.

It  couldn't last forever, could it? Angel Corp wanted Mist back. Overseer  finally saw their potential and wanted xem to kill Boss, or they'd kill  Mobot and Wormy on the spot. Mist couldn't let that happen. Mist struck a  deal. Xe would kill a Sin Apple (NOT BOSS) and then she'll go home  free! So Mist was in the same old halls of Angel Corp. Nothing had  changed. Everyone was vicious and Mist had to stay there for,, months.  Refusing to come home until the job was done. She regained her Angel  Wings--being drastically smaller than her Sin Apple Ones.

Mist  got what she wanted, she could kill a Sin Apple and she'd be able to go  home--but apparently absorbing more than one Sin Apple soul--or drastic  stress and pressure is what turns you into a Sin Apple Beast. And Mist  was quickly becoming one. Mist was put into a pre-mature coma to have  enough time to figure out how to stop it. Mist was eventually able  to--turns out the two Sin Apple souls still were alive, and Mist worked  out something so that Mist could come back all fine!

Mist (5.)  was now,, properly alive and now properly reminded how finite their life  could be. But that was gonna be the last of it,, yes? NO. NO YOU'D  THINK SO BUT NOPE! Mist was not expecting a final Angel Corp Attack.  Boss had made a deal (?) with Overseer and just like that, Apple Corp  wasn't a thing anymore. And Boss was no longer safe if he was teaming up  with Overseer.

[WORKING AT A SUPERHERO CITY DINER]

Mist  (6.), after so so long,, returned to being a lamp. The curse being  lifted--but the Angel and Sin Apple traits still remained. Mist made a  portal outside the pocket dimension and went to the only place she knew  of to be safe--the underwater superhero city. A giant city underneath a  glass bubble deep underwater. Now Mist works at the diner to earn enough  for the apartment for three--Mobot, Wormy and herself.

Mist  (7.) Wears a green jacket to cover the wings and tail and the like to  not cause panic! Aside from their antlers ofc! Now Mist works the nine  to five at a diner, a rivalry between brothers and it's the simplest of  their working situations yet! When the rival diner's brother goes  missing though,,, everyone looks to Mist to solve it with their  abilities. Just as Boss comes back into her life, alongside Angel Corps  influence finally making it over the city and Mist having no idea what  to do next,,

This  was where we stopped roleplaying/conceptualizing when I left. But woah!  A lot of stuff! That's not even all of the story! But that's as much as  i'm writing for this!
