Candy's Links
Tagger is shy, but that didn't stop Candy from befriending them! She's the one who invited Tagger into Thatch's group, and she has no regrets over that. They're a great ally to have.
Candy is Tagger's dear friend. She's always there for them. They don't know what they would do without her! Some may say they're a little dependent on her, and maybe they have a point, but they like going on missions with her. She's good at distracting others while they turn themselves invisible and sneak into places they shouldn't be in.
Malarie is so mysterious! Everyone knows Malarie was rescued by Thatch and chose to join the group, but Candy's not quite sure why she decided to forsake her kingdom the way she did. Maybe she never wanted to be a warrior? Either way, Candy is glad such a capable individual is a part of the group! If only she would show up for dinner more often...
Candy is... a lot. She's super sweet, don't get her wrong, but she's also way too outgoing for Malarie's tastes.
Artemis is super chill. She spends a lot of time with her nose in books, but Candy likes keeping her company! She thinks Artemis did a great job training the kids.
Candy is much too enthusiastic for Artemis to handle sometimes, but Artemis is glad Candy is a part of the group. When the kids were actually kids, Candy was a big help in taking care of them. The two of them had an agreement: Artemis trains them, Candy handles the more emotional side of things. It worked out. The two of them are friends now as well.
Thatch is super strong! He saved her from some Shadowbloods, and she's followed him around since.
Candy isn't quite like many felcans he's met. He's never known someone to take to criminal activities like a fish to water, but Candy managed to surprise him. She jumps into everything with enthusiasm and is even supportive of murder? Not that Thatch is complaining. She's been a huge help wrangling the kids when they were still kids, not to mention her strength-boosting powers helping her pin enemies down with ease.
Candy doesn't have kids of her own, but Rumble and his brother are like... her sons! The two of them are the kids most open to her, and she's so glad to have been able to play a big role in raising them. She remembers when they were much smaller, but they're just as cute now as they were back then. Rumble is passionate and loud just like her, and the two of them often rile each other up.
Candy is like his mom, but better. She actually gives him attention and affection and doesn't put her duties above himself and Tumble. She also doesn't treat him like an accessory to Tumble and vice versa, which is definitely a big bonus in his books.
Tumble is such a thoughtful, sensitive soul. She adores Tumble like he's her own son. The two of them have had many deep conversations, mostly revolving around Tumble's own fears and worries, so she knows that he knows she'll always be there for him.
Candy is nice. When he first met her, he was a bit overwhelmed by her... but over the years, they've grown much closer. As his and Rumble's primary caretaker when they were younger, Tumble has a lot of affection for her. A part of him wanted to call her mom, but it feels a little disingenuous to his real mom... sometimes he feels bad knowing he abandoned his parents, but Candy doesn't push him into anything and is aware of his problems. For that, he's grateful.
Blossom is such a sweet girl. She may have joined the group when she was a little older than Rumble and Tumble, but Candy took care of her just the same!
Candy can be a lot sometimes, but Blossom appreciates having someone around who is always welcoming to her and her friends.
Candy remembers when Flash was very little. He was so feisty! No one really knows how Thatch met Flash, but it doesn't matter. Flash is a part of the group, and that's all that matters. She knows how proud Artemis is of Flash, and Candy can see why. He's very capable!
Flash has complicated feelings about Candy. She tends to treat him like he's still a kid, and Flash hates that, but she was also kind of the one who raised him? Her bubble nature doesn't mesh well with his abrasive one, but he knows she'll always be there for him if he ever wants to talk about something... not that he's going to.
Haze was such a sweet kid... she's sad that he's gone. If he had powers, maybe he could have defended himself better, but that's not something anyone could really control. It's tragic. She still thinks about him often. Maybe he never really let her mother him like she did to the other kids, but he was still one of hers at the end of the day. He wasn't even fully grown like the rest of the kids currently are!
Candy... Haze doesn't know how to feel about her. She's really sweet, don't get him wrong, but she also babied him a lot and treated him like he was delicate. Which, he's not. He refused to let her treat him like he's one of her kids. He already has a mom! Or, had a mom, but the point is he doesn't want to ever replace his mom. He doesn't really miss Candy too much.
