Named after the star system in Andromeda, although the 3 stars making up almach (they're so close together we see it as one star,) are 2 white dwarfs (which look light blue) and 1 orange giant. Because the 3 are so close together the colors merge into a white looking singular star under bare eye... yet under a telescope the yellow is visible from the bright orange one and your eyes see it as green! Interestingly, cameras pick up Almach as blue. Almach is actually blue. (Source) This guy (the alumy) likes space :D
