Sweet . SHY . Intelligent

Salem has always hated when all attention is focused solely on her. She is a shy dove, and doesn't talk much to people she doesn't know. The kind of girl that will sit back and stay out of the lime light. Ever since she was small she has absolutely loved reading! And learned braille quite quickly for her age even if in the beginning it was short worded children books. 

Though she is blind she has never seen it as a disadvantage and she hates when others see her that way. She is independent and is even attending college for a degree in astronomy. She always wonders if what she imagines the plants and stars look like, is the same as what she sees in her head. Overall however her love is just for science in general and is quite good at obtaining information adding to her intellect. 

She usually always has her long hair braided, which she has gotten quite good at doing herself and only takes it out to sleep or shower. Apparel wise, she is usually always wearing stalkings and a scarf no matter the outfit. Even in winter she trades her thin stalkings for thick woolen ones, but they make her feel more comfortable for some reason. She also often wears shorts/ skirts cause she doesn't like the extra effort it takes to get into jeans because of her leg spikes. 

Salem has really never has a serious boyfriend, though she has had her little crushes or dating for a few weeks. Nothing has really stuck, and she is still looking for the perfect guy. She wants someone that will cherish her, and never look down on her for not being able to see. Treating her like their equal, and laughing at her nerdy science jokes. That will take the extra time it takes for her to open up to them, since it very hard for her to overcome her shyness, to the point of extreme anxiety if forced into social situations. Someone to hold and cuddle her when she is having a rough day and listens to what she has to say. To ever hoping that he is out there somewhere waiting for her.
