Vene is a snivy with a posh family, casting upon him a shadow of responsibility.
Because he was spoiled, he isn't the kindest or most caring individual, but he doesn't ever want to try and be this way. He does his best to care for others, but also doesn't want to show any weakness at all. So he's sort of stuck in this circle of being kind or being dismissive and stubborn.
He ends up getting closer to Ivy, showing a bit more vulnerability than he usually does after an incident where they had to help one another to get out of. As a result, they decide to make their explorer team together — Team Stellar.
In his journey to be true to himself, he ends up finding something even more horrifying.
