She belonged to a wealthy family of Starshooters in her lifetime. They all left to spend the winter in one of their other mansions deep in the forest, but a terrible storm left them stranded. The entire family fell ill, and had no way to get any help, so Katarine made the choice to try to venture out by herself. Getting lost in the winding and frozen woods, she soon perished.
Many years later she returned to the old family mansion... but not quite as alive as she used to be. Her entire family was gone and the place looked like it'd been abandoned for years. Katarine made herself at home, and has been reluctant to leave. Her new life has given her access to dark artes she never could have had before, and she'd taken an interest in necromancy.
Be warned, if you venture into the woods you may find yourself drawn to this old home... You'll find yourself drawn inside by a woman's sweet voice. How nice of you to keep her company! She's awfully hungry and it's been so long since anyone's been this way....
