nonbinary and aroace. Kinda like the "first mate" (except those didn't really officially exist on pirate ships) Helps out with navigation, dual wields swords (they're scuffed up, but they refuse to get rid of them or have the ship weaponsmaster even touch them)

Joined pirating for the gold and also because they were kinda outcasted from society due to their birtmark. On land and in the cities, many people believed their mark to be a curse. But on the seas and at the ports, people believed their birthmark to be a blessing from a goddess and a guide to some kind of treasure.
