Kei

Background: Kei has four brothers, one older brother (Kai), and three younger siblings (Kii, Koi, and Kui). Growing up being the oldest Kai always had Kei and the others depending on him and looking up to him. Kai fell into a facade and became unable to truly express himself thus only kept up his image for the sake of his siblings who admired him so. Being something you’re not, his brother couldn’t keep doing it forever, and eventually Kai broke and messed up badly. Kei was left to pick up the pieces for the sake of the younger ones.  He rejects the fact that Kai is any different than he was before, and still defends the idea of Kai being a perfect senpai. Kei tries to remain himself, but he is also trying to become someone he’s not by becoming the role model of his siblings. He yearns for that older brother relationship that he lost which is why he acts so childish and hyper around those he has deemed a senpai. He’s very defensive of his senpai as he fears anything will make them break like his brother did. He views his senpai as the truest most admirable of people. Despite this, Kei is still very hostile to those who he perceives as being someone they’re not, which he views most people as this. He comes off as rude and almost seems like he has a superiority complex at times.
